The course summaries are as follows:
E&O and Bad Faith (morning session)
Today’s litigious society has created a minefield of dangers for the insurance professional! This course will explore these dangers and the reality of the business environment. Attendees will learn to identify perils, examine activities that present potential exposure, and learn how to defend themselves should a claim be presented. Risk management and insurance professionals will benefit from this course, which will include a review of judicial decisions regarding alleged errors and omissions by insurance professionals.
Flood Insurance (afternoon session)
The insurance community plays a key role in educating consumers about their flood risk and about how to obtain flood insurance to protect their property and, thereby, to protect themselves from financial ruin. This course will review coverage provisions of the flood policy, examine basic guidelines to determine when flood insurance is necessary, and discuss how to respond to questions from consumers about the National Flood Insurance Program. Flooding is the most common catastrophe in the United States, and this course will help insurance professionals provide property loss protection to their insureds before disaster strikes.
We hope to see you at our event!
